Linux will never be as popular a desktop operating system as Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X, but there are some good reasons to give Linux a try. Linux has some advantageous over Microsoft word.

Advantages of Linux

1.	You can download Linux for free.
2.	You can install Linux for free.
3.	Applications that run on Linux machines tend to be free as well.
4.	Malware is rarely a concern in the Linux world.
5.	Linux is ideal for use with a laptop, a netbook, or an older desktop.

There are many distributions, or versions, of the operating system. We suggest trying Ubuntu. It is the one most people have heard of, and has a large community. But there are hundreds of others as well, each offering some variant on the basic Linux theme.

Just because you have somebody’s email address, doesn’t mean you can email them as much as you want to. It doesn’t mean that the recipient will read your email or even want to hear from you.

It is a fact; customers are hard to reach because they ignore you. Permission is important. It’s the only thing that works. Earning permission is a long-term, profitable, scalable strategy that pays for itself. Think about how much better off a brand would be if it took the time to make promises, keep them and be transparent about its communications.

Some rules to live by:
1.	Get the explicit permission to email somebody.
2.	Set frequency expectations.
3.	Let r easily unsubscribe.
4.	Be interesting – give me an offer.
5.	Don’t say it all in one message.
6.	Tell me how to refer a friend.
